Group Learning Mobility in Arad 2027

Employment Skills and Self Advocacy

CuBuFo invites:

  • People with disabilities from Bulgaria, aged 18 and over
  • Experts working with and supporting people with disabilities on successful transition from education to employment

to apply for a five-day group learning mobility in Arad, Romania.

The programme aims to strengthen the soft skills, digital autonomy and self-advocacy participants need to enter and thrive in the labour market.

The mobility will be organised under CuBuFo’s Erasmus+ accreditation for adult education, under contract number 2026-1-BG01-KA121-ADU-000409870.

Learning Programme

The five-day programme covers the following topics:

22 March – Growth Mindset and Learning to Learn
Recognising personal strengths and support needs, setting SMART learning goals, building resilience, developing confidence in independent action, and managing time and stress.

23 March – Job Search and Personal Branding
Mapping skills, identifying opportunities and barriers, taking a proactive approach to job hunting, writing an effective CV, and developing a job-seeking profile.

24 March – Mastering the Job Interview
Professional communication, preparing for interviews, practising online interviews, presenting skills effectively, and following up after an interview.

25 March – Rights Disclosure and Self Advocacy
The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and employment rights, deciding when and how to disclose a disability, requesting reasonable accommodations, advocating for oneself, and communicating workplace needs.

26 March – Transition to the Workplace
Preparing for the first month at work, professional etiquette, communicating with supervisors and tutors, accessing peer support and mentorship, maintaining independence within a team, and using feedback to monitor progress.

Digital autonomy will be developed through practical job-search and online-interview activities.

Travel Funding and Support

CuBuFo will arrange group travel and coordinate reservations.

The accreditation budget will cover travel, accommodation, daily subsistence, local transport, transfers and insurance for the trip. There is no training fee. Where an accompanying person is needed, their costs will also be covered.

Training will take place in English, with Bulgarian translation support. Applicants can indicate their accessibility and support needs in the application form.

Learning Agreements and Certificates

Learning agreements will be signed with all participants, setting out rights and obligations, insurance details, daily subsistence allowances and other relevant arrangements.

Europass certificates will be issued by the sending and host organisations, documenting participants’ learning outcomes.
