It started on 1 October 2026 and runs for 24 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What REMEDIA is about<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project aims to strengthen Holocaust remembrance and counter distortion and antisemitism through transnational and inclusive educational pathways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Young people will explore how media communication was expressed and used to spread anti-Jewish hatred. Channels like cinema, radio and the press will be analysed, and selected materials will be used to think together about how media communication works today. What comes out of this will help develop new Civic Education pathways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who&#8217;s on board<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">REMEDIA brings together 5 partners from 4 European countries: Italy, Portugal, Romania and Bulgaria. Universities, NGOs and research institutes work side by side, so the approach is interdisciplinary and comparative. CuBuFo is one of the partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What&#8217;s coming<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project has 7 Work Packages. Here comes a glimpse on what to look forward to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a Digital Archive of local historical sources (before, during and after the Shoah)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>teacher training programmes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>student workshops and co-creation activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>intergenerational public debates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a European Charter of Active Memory<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>digital Memory Hubs, so the work keeps going and reaching people after the project ends<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How it works<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">REMEDIA uses methods like service learning, flipped classroom and peer education, together with digital tools such as IWitness, multimedia archives and interactive platforms.
