CuBuFo participates in its second Erasmus+ adult education course in Athens

Between 4 and 11 June 2025, the CuBuFo team attended its second course under the Erasmus+ adult education accreditation programme (2024-1-BG01-KA121-ADU-000198811). The training took place in Athens, Greece, and was organised by the Recreation Centre for People with Disabilities “Panagia Evagelistria”.

The course, titled “Inclusive trainers ready for a fast-changing and diverse tomorrow”, aimed to:

  • Equip adult educators with the skills to adapt to dynamic training environments
  • Promote inclusive learning for participants from diverse backgrounds
  • Foster flexibility, resilience and well-being among trainers
  • Provide tools for working with mixed-ability groups and neurodivergent learners
  • Offer strategies for conflict resolution and non-violent communication
  • Deepen understanding of intellectual and learning disabilities, including ASD and ADHD
  • Present holistic learning approaches and methods for self and group assessment such as the Silver Ace model

Training sessions were held both at the Department of Philosophy at the University of Athens and at the facilities of the host organisation. The programme included presentations, group discussions, simulation exercises, and practical workshops.

The six CuBuFo participants concluded the course with a deeper understanding of inclusive education and a commitment to applying these approaches in their work with adult learners.
