The Pitch Erasmus+ project

CuBuFoundation started work on the “From pitching your tent to the pitching event” supported by the Eramsus+ programme and the Bulgarian National agency Human resources development center (n. 2021-2-BG01-KA210-YOU-000048091). Shortly – The Pitch.
The project aims at nurturing and supporting v.i. youths’ sense of initiative and entrepreneurship by creating a safe and peer-learning oriented environment, which can facilitate the testing and validation of social entrepreneurial ideas. It also strives to promote inclusion of young v.i. people by developing guidelines for organizing peer learning hiking, involving v.i. and sighted youth together, going on a target oriented trip and learning from each other on the way.
We would like to achieve this by offering to mixed groups from Bulgaria, Belgium, Greece Romania and Italy) the opportunity to pass the route of Botev’s rebels and to test their entrepreneurial ideals in the form of various workshops, thus creating a model for a hike for groups with and without visual impairments, using the instruments of peer learning and growing together.
Implementing this activity will take place during the second half of June 2023, not during the time when all the other groups are going on the path in Bulgaria, so that we can take advantage of all the venues on the way and prolong the nice emotions for the local population. Our group (around 35 people) will be motley, multilinguistic, with various skills and interests, but with the uniting desire and will for sharing and contribution for a unique experience, which can be enriching for everyone – both for us as well as for the people on the way.
If you recognize yourself as a potential participant in the project – you have an idea you would like to develop into a workshop and test with us, you are visually impaired and you are aged up to 29 years, contact us so that we can discuss your participation and the engagements you and we should undertake.
