Teatro Trono from Bolivia visited Plovdiv between October 30th and November 3rd 2021 – during harsh times of covid restrictions. They were robbed from the chance to share their potential, art and wisdom with all the young people they could have reached under regular circumstances. Yet, we all did what was possible at the time.
On October 31st and November 1st they had amazing face-to-face workshops with young people with mental disabilities from Association “Parallel world” and on November 1st in the afternoon they had a face-to-face workshop with students and teachers from Secondary school “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” and National art high school “Tsanko Lavrenov”.
On November 2nd and November 3rd they had two online workshops with students from the National art high school and Language school “Ivan Vazov” respectively.
On November 3rd the sun was out in Plovdiv, raising the temperatures and bringing people out on the city central pedestrian street of the city, where Teatro Trono exploded with their drums, motley costumes, pantomime acts and out-going heart-warming personalities.
The photos below are hints as to what we experienced with Teatro Trono during the week of their stay in Plovdiv. We enjoyed every second of it, despite covid, and would do it over and over again!
